It’s bright and focused\, yet textured\, and seductive — an excellent rebuttal to the somewhat bland and nondescript Pinot Grigios that seem to dominate restaurant menus. On the nose\, notes of creamy meyer lemon curd\, marzipan\, and savory herbs give way to flavors of ripe pear\, white flowers\, and crushed almonds. The Frecciarossa estate stretches across 37 hectares in the Oltrepò Pavese\, of which 27 are vineyards surrounded by plots of wheat\, alfalfa\, hazelnut groves\, fruit trees\, and even bee hives\, all farmed using exclusively organic methods.
